La evaluación se aplicó a 37 mil 706 jóvenes de 15 años de escuelas públicas y privadas, independientemente de su grado académico, aunque 77.8 por ciento tiene el nivel de bachillerato.
La OCDE emitió a su vez un informe con 12 recomendaciones, entre las que sobresale la urgencia de definir los estándares a partir de los cuales se evaluará a la comunidad educativa.
